About Us
The Maury County Historical Society is comprised of individuals who enjoy the rich and diverse history of middle Tennessee and specifically Maury County.
We meet on the 3rd Sunday afternoon at 2pm in January, March, May, July, September, and November. The November meeting is reserved for the annual business meeting and Historic Preservation Awards Luncheon, so the time may be moved up to noon or 1.

Members receive the quarterly publication Historic Maury plus reminder cards for upcoming membership meetings.

Meetings are typically held in historic, private homes, churches, and other buildings where members are free to tour. Some meetings feature a guest speaker.
